Coilovers

I'm sure a bunch of you have gone through this situation. You buy the H&R springs to drop your car. The back looks awesome but the front just isn't low enough. I DO NOT want to cut my springs. I drive a Mercedes, not a Honda. I don't want to lose the ride of my car. I want to buy the H&R coilovers. But since I'm extremely happy w/ the way the back looks, I don't want to take those springs out. I want to keep it exactly like that. So what I'm asking is, is there any way to just buy the two front coilovers for my car? I have a 2004 C230 Sedan on 19in HRE's. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

In the market
I too went through the same series of frustrations. The decision I came to was to the leave the front alone. I am running 19's with 235/35's and with the wheels hard over either way, they are less than a half inch away from the fenders...I am afraid that any farther down in the front and I am going to have some serious clearance issues. How much clearence do you have right now? H&R is not very friendly to deal with from my experience. I don't know if you could get just the front coilovers or not...

I have never heard you can buy two coilovers only. So, the answer to your question is "no".

If the coilovers are ride height adjustable, you can adjust it to the exact same height that you are having right now. Also, I am not sure how weird your car will handle with coilovers on the front and separate springs and shocks on the rear, all I can say is it will handle REALLY bad.

Get all 4, and set the height to your own liking.
you can set it to current position too.
coilover ride is better too.

I have never heard of just getting the front two coilovers only either but I never tried either. I was just wondering if it could be done. What I don't understand though is, why would the car handle so bad? Well, I can sort of understand. Different stiffness in springs and in shocks as well. Yea, I guess it makes sense. I never thought of it that way. I guess if I can spend 5g's on rims and tires, I can spend 1500 on coilovers.
