First time poster, first time owner, a glutton for punishment
Well, I did it. I agreed to pick up a C230K sports coupe today. This will be my very first adventure outside of VW (Have owned them since 88, currently own a 2018 Passat and 2018 Atlas). My neighbor decided to get rid of his MB and after talking to him, I think its a good deal.
2003 C230K Sport Coupe from the Original Owner
All service records since new (First 60k at dealership remaining at well known shop in my area)
Currently sitting on 116,000 miles
Only (known) issue is sunroof won't open.
Very solid car. For the past 3 years it was only driven during the summer months as they spent the winters in Florida.
He offered it to me for $100...I think it may be a little high
Look forward to reading all about it and what services I may need to encounter soon. I plan to drive it 50% of the time and then have my daughter drive it when she becomes legal driving age in just over a year.

Wow. $100? That is a steal.
Right off the bat I can think of about 20 different things you may want to look into. But maybe this conversation is best had another day, after you take delivery.
