Anybody get the Audio Off message in their MFD occasionally when they start up ? The radio and CD work fine but you have to hit the power button off and then on to get your stations back in the MFD. Is this a documented bug that has been resolved ?

I get something similar. MFD will look fine, but no sound. Try to go to CD, gives you a "No Changer" message. Kill the ignition and start it again, everything's back to normal. It has happened 3 times in 5 weeks. I'm waiting for it to happen a couple more times and take it in for a checkup.

i was just wondering.. do you guys turn your radio off before you turn your car off... because I have never had this problem and I was wondering if you guys were leaving the radio on when turning the car off?

Fuzzo, I don't remember whether the radio was on or off when the ignition got switched off - most likely off, but that shouldn't matter - the "audio off" message etc. that are resettable are a clear indication of a software bug.

vadim,
when exactly are you seeing this, right when you start your car? mine does that all the time. I have my display in the dash set to the audio screen. So till I turn the radio on, it says audio off.
I don't think I understand when this is happening...

I leave the radio on all the time. The Audio Off message appears immediately on startup (some time). The radio plays but I don't
have the stations in the MFD display until I change the station using the steering wheel controls or shut the radio off then on.
Since this is the same head unit that the other C-class models use I am sure this is a problem that has been around since C-class introduction. Maybe MBtech208 has the answer on this.
