Horn help!!

My horn is not working on my C230 coupe. I pulled out the manual and that was no help, so I went to the fuse designation sheet in the passenger compartment fuse box and there is no listing for the horn. It started sometimes by going to one horn and then back to both, as you can surely tell when only one is working. I have checked all the wiring and it looks OK. Is this tied to something else in the car? If I am missing something totally obvious I apologize. Having no horn is starting to suck!! Any help will be appreciated.

just buy a new horn, u can buy either the "high" or "low" tone only, mine broke when my car was a month old. costs around $45, hella makes it for mb,but when u buy a hella outside...its cheap, but i dont think the tone is an exact match.

Got the new horns and it did not fix the problem. I have looked all over for the horn relay and cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone know which direction to point me in? I am assuming that the relay is the issue being that I cannot find a fuse for the horn either. Hopefully one of you can help. Thanks......

OK, if anyone out there needs to check a fuse for the horn will will find it listed on the fuse documentation sheet as "FANFARE". Just another one of those German things to keep us guessing.

Don't forget the PA system so you can buzz other cars on the road. ^_^
