Xentry won't communicate with modules

Xentry won't communicate with modules
I just bought and 03' C230 Kompressor. it seem to run and drive fine, outside of the one incident. I backed out of driveway and all of sudden no gears forward or back I turned off the car, waited 5 mins and car drove fine. i have a C3 mux running xentry/2012. Xentry does not read the VIN (it must be manually entered), after running quick test. electronic transmission control [EGS] module and battery voltage is the only modules read. The other modules that show up have no Hardware, Software version and just has " - ! - ". The detailed view shows the faults stored in the EGS module. When i try and read the modules directly i get Error (1.3)-3.515.2019.
I'm at an impasse, it will read my 08' Cl550, and other Mercedes that i have access to.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
