Wash pump glitch?
Hello,
Recently I noticed a weird glitch while shooting washing fluid on the windshield. All of a sudden the pressure is extremely low and the weirdest part of all is that the system allows only for 5 wash clicks before the pump shuts down??? It would "reset" after I stop and start the car again and so on... I tried many times to confirm this.
No malfunction on the screen whatsoever.
I also removed the wheel to inspect the washing fluid tank for leaks etc but everything seemed fine.
Does anybody have an idea or should I just try replacing the pump? As I said, the weird part is not low pressure but how many times it lets me "fire" a wash before it stops working until I stop and start the car again. Something really weird is going on..
(I should mention that the wipers are working just fine so I doubt the handle can be the issue)
P.S. It's 2002 C200 1.8 Kompressor Sport Coupe by the way.

It's probably the pump just cycling enough before it locks up or loses prime or something.
I'd replace it. I'm going to do mine soon also as mine is completely dead.

Where did you purchase it? Will any cheap aftermarket one work? Amazon link?
I just bought one through prime, about 10 bucks. Should be here Sunday.
