Some help please, does your center console do this?

I just got my car back from the dealer and they had to open the dash up for some things.

Anyway I got into the car and had to hit the rear defroster. When I did this, the whole climatronic thing moved into the dash a bit and then moved back out after I released pressure.

They took it back in and said "We fixed it so it doesn't move as much, but it still moves a little"

So now when I press in the right edge of the climatronic it still moves in a bit and it bugs me.

Is this normal?

TIA!
Bill

Normally I do too, except I was sketchy after I got in my car and pressed the button and it moved in.

I'll chalk it up to "Used to happen before but never noticed it"

Thanks,
Bill

PS Do you ever leave the boards and drive your car? j/k

i hate that....when your car is in the shop, so you just can't drive it. when i got my first service done and a little knick in my paint fixed from some *** who scratched my car in a parking lot and i couldn't drive it for a day and a half, i was driving a mercury grand marquis

just know i was running back to my car when it was ready haha.

when my car was in the body shop after that b***h hit me, i would go down everyday after work to check the progress. now its in for a mod, which i most likely will go and see how its coming along after work.

Citron's is not a factory install, I'm not sure if Hitman's is factory or not. I do know the non-climatron unit doesn't move.

my clima-knobby moved a little too. my climatronic doesnt move alot, but it moves, a little. its not solid in there, i mean push yours (knobby or tronic, i dont care) it moves a little. "i mean a little". they are only held in by four plastic clips. it doesnt move when i hit buttons but if i touch the corners or the edges it moves, very little. movement is movement, and my clima-knobby moved just as little as my new one!

and whether it factory or not, its still a W203 part (regardless of coupe or sedan), which fits just as good as factory.
