C320 Coupe
keep C320 Coupe or upgrade in 2005?

hey, new to the boards, but i just wanted to see if you guys could give me some advice. i have an '03 c320 coupe, have had it for a year now, and i love it more than anything, great car. it is leased though and i've been debating to keep it and possibly mod it later on because i want bigger rims than the 16s, i don't have xenons, and i like the new '05 tail lights (that's for starters haha). or i could give it back at the end of my lease and get an '03 c32. if i get the c32, i'd most likely not do anything to it, as to me, that car is perfect. and plus, the new c55 won't be any faster than the c32, and although the new interiors are hot, i don't mind the current '03 styles. anyway, any opinions? thanks.

btw, since your leasing you can always sell the items you put on your car when you turn your car in at the end of the lease.

don't mean to hi-jack the thread, but kinda on topic?

how do you like your C320 coupe? I'm condering it for my next car (end of year purchase). Handling/power/etc...

I priced out the C320 coupe with lighting, entertainment, sunroof packages, power driver's side w/ memory/steering column for $33,400 (before negotiating of course )

Then I did the exact same options with the C230k sedan, same price.

But I like the idea of the V6 power

Thanks man!

GDawgC220, i priced a C320 coupe after i ordered my car, but couldnt see myself spending the extra $2000 on an engine. but after driving a couple C320 coupes, if i could do it over again, i would have a a screen name of CitronC320_03 instead.

C320 Coupe
Gdawg, i drove both the c230 coupe and c320 coupe, and the v6 really does make a difference. the c230 was a great car as well, esp. since i drove an a4 right before and the MB 1.8 liter was noticeably quicker and peppier than the audi 1.8. but that aside, the c320 handles very well (it has upgraded sport suspension), it is pretty quick (sub 7 sec 0-60 time), and it has been reliable and great quality - i have had no problems with it whatsoever. plus it looks so damn good, i get so many looks and compliments in it.

the new '05 models are even better than my '03. the suspension is tuned further, it has a lower ride height, clear headlamp covers, nicer grille, nicer rear lights, bigger 17" rims and staggered wheels, better brakes, and more refined interior. all for the same *******g price haha (yeah i'm a lil bitter lol), but it's all good. go for it man, you'll be thoroughly satisfied with the car.

I think i'm going to aim for the C320 Coupe...just have to decide on color now Won't be for a while, but can't wait!

I'm going to test drive both tho...do dealers have manual test demo's or are most auto's?

i test drove a manual. they have them there. if you want a manual make sure you test drive one. i test drove both the 2.3 and 1.8 engines. i was going to wait for a 2003 no matter what because i had to have the BIX package.

thanks! im still working on my mods list. just when i think im done something else pops up and i have to have it.

as far as your mods list, Possible Future Mods: '05 tail lights, '05 grille, 17" rims, Staggered wheels, Illuminated Door Sills, W211 Mirror Indicators, Bi-Xenon headlamps i have all of those except for the staggered wheels. i say get em, they are subtle, yet sweet. they dont make your car all obnoxiously overdone, they are well worth it. especially the sills at night!
