Starting Negotiations?

Hey guys,
I found the Benz that I like except that I really don't want the cd changer an no bixenons. Every benz that I've seen has this. Will I have to order a new benz in order not to get the cd changer but get the bixenons? Also, since this is my first time purchasing a car, how do you start negotiations? I've gone to four different dealerships and at all of them I have just looked at the car never really discussed the pricing. Should I say what I would like to pay first or should I let them make an offer first? Of course, I will get quotes from a dealers and ultimately go with the lowest price. Thanks in advance. BTW the car I want to get is '05 C230K.

I would start with carsdirect.com pricing or one of the buying services like carpoint.com

A bucket on wheels
im pretty sure you can remove the cd changer since its a dealer added option. And the bi-xenons can be retrofited if you want it. Good luck.

'06 ML500 w/Apperance pkg & '07 SL550 w/AMG pkg
It is hard to find a C-class without Entertainment pkg or CD changer. The reason is that a dealership has to order these cars 3 months in advance and we are programed to order the car with a CD changer. We are not used to having the car be equipped with a single CD, so it is almost a habit to add the changer. Then when you add the Bi-Xenons with no CD changer, it becomes finding the needle in the haystack.

I don't think that dealers add those themselves anymore and place them on the lot that way. Customers would complain at the higher cost than that listed on the website and/or other cars in dealer stock. Its not like the old days anymore where stealers could get hundreds of $$$$$.
Yes you can add the bix at a higher cost, with less functionailty and equipment, plus the headaches of finding a dealer to activate them.

is it hard to find a C320 coupe with Entertainment, Lighting, Sunroof, drivers power w/ memory & 4-way steeringwheel?

i'm still deciding between auto or manny...

interesting with carsdirect.com

Same 2005 C320 Coupe I priced on MBUSA...

MBUSA came out to 33,400
Carsdirect came out to 32,720, with target of 30,782.
