Anyone know W203 gear ratios?
Hi All,
I can't seem to find this info anywhere. I'm looking at an 05 230 Sport sedan and was wondering if anyone knew what the 5 ratios on the auto transmission and 6 ratios on the manual are? Also what is the ratio of the rear end? I'm trying to calculate comparitive engine speeds at different road speeds.

I'd really like to know this as well (for a C320 SS). Mercedes treats technical info as though it was a national security issue. You'd think that, since they're going after BMW's lunch with these Sport Sedans, they'd wake up and realize some of us out here actually have a technical interest in these cars. They should also start offering a wider selection of sporty colors. Their current palate is fairly "mom & pop".
