if you're going to spend on discs (rotors) and pads, might as well go for the good stuff !!!
get on the group buy for AMG 4-piston brake system !
You can't beat the price !
The 4 piston calipers are nice, but they are heavier than the other 4 piston calipers out there.
The AMG pads are clearly inferior to the aftermarket pads available for similar prices. They don't stop as well as the Kevlar content or ceramic pads and are much more dust producing.
What AMG rotors and calipers do is look good. I'm not convinced they work any better than stock.
Let me tell you that unless you have been to the C Spot and gone 110 in the C32, and in about 50 feet turn left you never appreciate the AMG/Brembo brakes installed stock in the heavier C32. In a lighter C 230K Coupe or Sedan with after market Porterfield pads they are truly great stoppers
I highly recommend the C32 AMG rotors and calipers, with Stoptech SS/teflon lines and Porterfield pads. JNothing even comes close for the price.
