Coming to a city near you. I've registered for the event in Hollywood Park on Aug 14. From the event info looks like there are 3 tracks, 1. 4Matic E-Class and S-Class, 2. Offroad adventure with M-Class and G-Class, and 3. Fun in the Sun with Convertibles.

well ive registered already. from what ive read it like the C-Spot that you drive their vehicles not your own.

from what ive read its the 4matic E and S, M and G for offroad and CLK, SLK and SL conv.

I have registered for Sat. 8/14 in hollywood. I hope the SLK 350 will be there. Does it come in automatic?

 

im sure all the cars there will be automatics for that reason. hey thanks for the heads up on this event shaun. im registered for 8/14 as well. whats your time block?

 

I went to the event in Chicago last weekend. They had three courses set up for the event.

1) A timed autocross run with C230 Sedans (only got one run which was somewhat disappointing)

2) A wet autocross course on a 4matic and non-4matic E320 and C320 (four cars)

3) A non-timed autocross in a CLK 320, CLK 320 cab, C230 Coupe, and a SL500 (sounded great w/ that V8!!!)

I personally liked the C230 coupe and the sedan for the courses. The SL 500 was very easy to drive. Did not like the CLK's around the autocross courses (felt very soft). They had the new SLK on display along with a C55, G, ML, and others, but did not get a chance to drive them. They also had a tour of the new Soldier's Field.

 

I just signed up for the Boston tour. Do they give you anything free like they did at the C-spot? Any coupons or discounts? I'm Jewish, I like free stuff! :p

i dont know. you get to drive some pretty sweet new cars for free. thats good enough for me!

im sure they hand out a goodie bag, not sure about coupons.

 

I can't wait til the AMG event comes back to California. That is where you can drive all the AMG's on a track. I wanted to go but was too lazy to drive to LA (Long Beach). This time I'm going to attend so I can say that I have driven 90% of MBZ line up.

Junbug, did you get any free stuff at the CHIcago event? The AMG event sounds nice, except for the entrance fee.
