C230
ESP unavaible

hi
I got a problem few hours ago.
I just drove my C230 to market and when I on way to home,it suddenly stop on the road and keep moving.
And then the ESP and ABS light turn on. It shows " ESP/ABS malfunction visit workshop."
When I back to home ,I tried to reboot it and the ABS light is still on but the monitor is become "ESP unavailable see operator's manual"
anyone knows what is going on?
Thank a lot.

I had that issue with a c280 with the M272 engine. It would happen after the first start of the day when the engine was close to operating temperature. Restart and it would operate fine. After the 2nd or 3rd restart the esp warning would go out. After the 5th or 6th restart the check engine light would go out. Next day, same thing all over again. It turned out to be the crank position sensor. Not a bad job. Only a one or two "Sunday school word job".
