sp cp mode and rear seat head restraint release query

sp cp mode and rear seat head restraint release query
Good afternoon, I am now the very proud owner of a 2004 c220 cdi automatic.
I am new to Mercedes ownership having previously owned a succession of Rovers and Mondeos.
There is no comparison at all to my present car..I love it !
Just a few niggles which I am hoping someone may be able to give me some advice on.
Firstly let me explain a bit of history. The car is a one owner 129000 on clock and I brought it with a starting issue.
We had to replace the engine ECU, Key system and the steering lock which I obtained from a specialist breakers.
After this was done the SRS light came on. I had the car reprogrammed at a Mercedes Specialist and all is now well.
Except that the SP CP mode button on the automatic gearbox does not now work and neither does the rear seat headrest electric release button.
Both worked before and now they don't. There was a little light on the dash button which does not now illuminate ( the switch next to it with a picture of a tow hitch also now does not illuminate.).
Ok its nothing crucial but because they did work I want to find out why they don't now.
I am thinking they must be electrically linked...
