random warning lights wont start
My 2001 c320 with 110k miles started this weird issue. I went to move the car and it wouldnt start , turn the key all the way and nothing (everything else works) no noises or anything as if the car was in drive when you start so i went to move it to neutral and the gearshift wont budge. The warnings i got was the abs light, a esp warning, a faulty display visit workshop warning. i tried unlocking and locking the car removing the key thinking it was some type of security issue then i manually moved the shifter using the bypass to N and started it and moved it. i then went back out and it did the same thing but this time i cycled the key several times and it randomly worked perfect no faults then i did it several times and the warnings all came back and its locked again? what causing this intermittent issue, at first i thought brake light switch but im not sure .hoping its not a rear sam can anyone comment on this (sorry for bad grammer typing this on my phone at work)
