Hello, this is my first post so please be nice. I recently bought a c180 compressor 2003 w203 coupe. The car used to stall when the fuel level was at 25% and always in traffic. Then starts immediately and stalls after a short while. When this begins happening then it will also stall at higher speed (50 to 80 kph). It will never start the problem if not in traffic.
I needed a solution until I had the cash to check and fix the problem and I read somewhere that this will not happen if you add petrol. True: when the tank is full everything is fine but when it gets lower the problem appears again. The sad news is that now it happens between 50 and 65% fuel thus it will go worst soon. Lately I don’t like the cars rpm at very low speeds. If somebody can understand what’s going on please help!
p.S After reading that many issues are already posted and starting a new thread creates problems to the moderators I checked and read the threads about the fuel delivery system issues etc but I am not sure if my problem belongs there since the cars behavior changes depending on the tank level. If I violate any rules pls let me know @nd I will delete this and post under another thread! Thanks for your understanding

Once the car is stalled, immediately check the fuel pressure in the line. There is a Schrader valve on the fuel rail. Push it in (just like a bicycle tire) and see if any gasoline squirts out. Wear safety glasses when doing this. This will determine if the fuel pump is toast.
The fuel pump fuse is easy enough to visually check, and the fuel pump relay isn't known to go on these cars either.

Hi did you found out what caused this issue? I have the same issue, and I changed the fuel pump already but still have the same issue, I'm thinking that maybe I have a bad Fuel Filter, It never occurred to me to check the Schrader valve on the fuel rail, so I will try to recreate the issue again and check the valve
