weird splat on rear sam board
I was removing my rear sam today to send it off for evaluation/repair, and decided to open it up and look inside. Can anyone tell me what the heck is on the board? Just curious. This is from a C230k, so it sits vertically, and there's no sign of water ingress. Thx.

I found a couple of almost identical pics by searching for Mercedes water damaged Sam. Maybe hatch seals going bad! When I get that module back I'm going to seal it as well as I can and replace the hatch seals.

I'll ask a related follow on question then: The place in Pompano Beach, FL M & B Specialists, now says they can't repair my SAM (their website still lists SAM repairs, FWIW)
So I should probably just try and find a replacement off Ebay.
I've seen in other posts that you need to match the part number. Is that the only number that has to be matched?
I see these numbers on my SAM:
209 545 01 01
5DK 008 486-10
barcode with 0000 03 035 15 0034 05 (3)
Q: 05 HW: 2802 SW: 3601
I found some parts that have everything except the barcode number, in some cases different numbers in the () Is that a rev number?
any help appreciated.
