The Video input thru adapter is PAL format only not NTSC. TV Tuner is an easy way to go...u get 2 inputs (PAL/NTSC).

actually, the 1440 does NTSC (states so on the manual, at least). I think the real advantage to going this route instead of the tv tuner is tv while in motion capability? Or is that not true?
