Hi All,

What is the true difference between the 2004 and 2004.5??? How do I know I have 2004.5....I do not think it says 2004.5 on the sticker???

-is 2004.5 have lower susp.. compared to 2004?
-the wheels? 5 spoke vs 7 spoke?
-chrome exhaust tip?

I think the above may be some of the differences....is that all?

If you had one of those sport sedans, it also comes with the AMG body kit as a standard feature and a 3 spoke steering wheel and a completely redesigned speedometer

MB also redid the exterior lighting and employed transparent casing for the indicator light as opposed to the obscured type used in earlier models.

The interior has also been redesigned. The a/c panel no longer has digital display, but the COMAND System features DVD and Navi.

Wow! All of the MY04.5s? I thought that paint was phased in at a certain month which happened to be several month after they first introduced the 04.5s. Paint in middle spring whereas the 04.5 appeared in middle to late winter (Jan - Feb?) on dealer lots.

So I guess mien is a 2004.5....but I am still confused on the nano paint. I see all these posts on nano paint and how to figure out if I have it or not....but I still have not idea....

some people say its on the window sticker...dont think so
some say its on the drivers side door sticker...did not find it there...

So...where is it

Check the color code on the driver's door jamb, if it's starts with a C then you got Nano'ed.
