Hi! , I have an OBD2 tracker/logger and yesterday I got P0730 and P2600 codes, the car start to run very bad, not check light in the dash (the light is woriking on ignition) , Today my mechanic solved the serius one P730 (was a faulty gasket and leaked oil) and he told me the previous owner may change something in the ECU to hidden or disactivate some codes (or all) but he can't know how to solve that, is that possible? How i can be sure i have working check engine light?

It's ironic that the whole forum is complaining about this light goes ON, and I complain the other way around

Find some one with factory or equal diagnostic software and in five minutes you will have your answer

could you be more specific please? i called to local Mercedes and they said me if "ECU was cheated" there is noting to do for found it / repair it
