Should I be surprised that I haven't gotten my refund back from HIDS4LESS yet?

Should I be surprised that I haven't gotten my refund back from HIDS4LESS yet?

Today's the day for bad news about my car. I just checked the activity in my checking account. When I sent my kit back, they said 5-10 days for a refund. It's now been 2 1/2 weeks. OK, it's only a couple of days from their worst-case scenario, but I hate that I have to call them tomorrow and hassle them for something that should have been done already.

Their customer service, from my experiences with them, rivals the IRS'.

did you talk to mike? that's whom i would speak w/... i don't understand the check thing. well, i guess they take a 2%? hit everytime. but i was credited via credit card (not a check) for their mischarge.
---

update:

i should clarify this cluster**** billing (forget the exact pricing so i'm just using the $600 and $500 pricing for stage 2 and stage 1 respectively):

i just found that they charged me $600 again.

basically, over a period of about 3 months, i was charged $600 thrice and $500 twice. i was credited via credit card $600 twice and $500 once. are you keeping up here? basically, i was charged $500 once for the stage 1 kit and an extra $600 for my displeasure! wtf!

anyway, keep an eye on your charge cards...

There should be a sticky post with blacklisted vendors. Nobody should have to go through this twice.

What would work great is a Ebay like system where people that buy somthing for their car submit ratings for that vendor.

Ok, I got the check

Came today in the mail. Still a little late, but I'll take it. Of course, they also said that the refund would be coming through on my credit card that was used for the initial purchase. Par for the course...

But I'm still happy that I got the check. Won't cover the crx's bodywork that I have to pay tomorrow, but it'll help.
