Front sam module issue fixed
So I got a 2002 C240 for a family member in college with only 113k miles. The car only had damage on two drivers side doors and was very dirty. When I got the car started it had alot of warnings such as bas, esp srs ect. All the fuese on the front sam module were ok so when i went to the junk yard to get the doors the car still had a sam module and was completely identical to my car. I pulled the module and paid 16 dollars for the part.At home I disconnected the battery and did the switch but had all the same faults. Id have tried my icarsoft reader but already had Xentry software on the laptop so i did a new scan and tried to do a total clearing of all faults but i couldnt. so I went to the sam module itself and poof it all cleared. I replaced some bulbs on the car and had no more warnings. I didnt do any programing of the sam module and it wasnt the same part number but it worked at the car was speced the same. So when i pulled apart the old sam module it had evidence of leaking capacitors on the board. here is a video of it.
