Need help with coolant gasket
Hello everyone. I have a coolant leak coming from this piece that a coolant hose connects too on the back of the engine. It is an 03 c230 coupe m271 engine. I'm not sure of the part name so I don't know what gasket to order. As far as I can tell it is not the hose going into the heater core. It is the one coming out of the engine on the back of it on the drivers side. Not a bad leak but I would like to fix it before it gets worse and I'm sick of smelling coolant lol.

Wow, that was tricky.
Also, for future reference, a wider shot and/or being more specific (saying it was on the driver's side) would be more helpful, and therefore you'll more likely get help.
That's for the oil cooler.
There isn't a "gasket", there's an o-ring. It's likely that the thermo-plastic pipe is also bad.
After you remove the pipe, you must properly clean that area/hole, otherwise the o-ring won't seal. Use acetone and a small brass toothbrush" (Home Depot or Amazon sells them - ).
Fwiw, to find the part, I looked at:

Since I knew it was for the oil cooler, I searched for "oil cooler", and found the part.

Fwiw, in general, I buy DIRECTLY FROM A DEALER WHEN EVER I CAN!
Then again, your time and effort may be worth nothing at all, and you have absolutely nothing better to do than wasting time and money by re-replacing junk or counterfeit parts.
For better pictures of the part:

Good Luck!

Thank you. I'll look closer but it seems what I have is just the plastic pipe coming out of the engine and going 90 degrees right into the hose but none of that other mounting spots like what u have pictured

This issue is common on the M271 engine.
M271 coolant leak at back of engine
3 pipes go bad as well as 1 nipple. See thread above for reference. Change them all out before the next one goes bad on you. Good luck.
