Newbie with c230 and c280 key swap
So my son ditched his c230. I was able to buy a complete running c280 parts car. The c230 has only 1 key. The c280 has 2 keys. Could I swap ????? And end up with 2 working keys?

The EIS (electronic ignition switch), cluster and most other modules are “married” to the VIN. You technically could if you changed over every single module associated and in your case engine.
You could however send out your ignition switch with key to get a cloned key, how much and where I’m not sure though
