Looking for torque on the EGR valve T30 bolts for 2006 mercedes c230. I have searched high and low on the forums and internet for a few days without any luck. If anyone has replaced these egr valves on a c class m272 engine (2001 -2007) or knows the torque then I could really use your help. I put my torque wrench at incrementally higher torque to see at what point I got a click before I took them off, which seemed to top out at 8.5 foot pounds . I dont want to strip the threads on the inside on the block! The valves are pictured below. The bolts had blue loctite and bolt directly to the engine block.

quite small 180 inch pounds... thats 15 ftlbs or 20 NM. according to my Haynes manual.
I appreciate the quick response. I came across 20 NM for m111 engine on the forum but didnt know how universal that was.
If anyone else has a different value or feel that it is not 15 ft-lbs or 20 NM for the EGR valve T30 bolt, then please post!
