The new 230's stock from the dealer run about 35000, with no options; the price has gone up since 2004, thats just an opinion coming from someone who has just recently done price searching though, you guys have been with this for awhile

I dont understand how some you are so ignorant here. A fully loaded C230 with auto minus nav is about 39k He got 2000 off and your saying he got ripped off? plus some tax it will be about 42. Not everyone here gets there cars UNDER INVOICE. Stop making him feel bad about his purchase, THE CAR HAS BEEN BOUGHT ALREADY.
