here's a thought: why don't we all print up an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet to put on our dash / front window with our MBWorld member name.
Citron, we all know which car is yours, so no need there... but if everyone does that we can put faces to names to cars. Lame ? or good idea ?

It's way too hot to meet in Diamond Bar or Tustin in August. Why don't you guys meet at the beach, this is the left coast afterall. Can I suggest 2 places, 1) Crystal Cove (by Newport Beach) on Saturday morning, this is a gathering place for some of the coolest cars in So Cal every Saturday, come early (7AM) for a free parking spot, 2) Salt Creek Beach (next to the Ritz Carlton of Laguna Niguel), they have a huge parking lot and plenty of parking in the morning.

Buell, in the afternoon it shouldn't be that bad. We are thinking places in between Pasadena and Irvine so that ppl from a north and south can all come and drive around the same distance.

I would suggest against Crystal Cove. #1 it's way too early. #2, S55 AMGs are like Civics down there. Everyone will just run over to look at the exotics instead.

Typically Irvine meets have been at the Spectrum, where the 5 & 405 & 133 meet so it's convenient for the people from the south as well as north coastal and north inland and inland empire taking the toll road.

Spectrum would be a cool choice if we could get past the rent-a-cops. Tustin Marketplace is cool because the old Ikea parking lot is empty, but the downside to that is the rent-a-cops.

right now looks like the parking lot behind the Old IKEA in Rowland Heights is the best choice if we want no rent-a-cops around because one side is the old AMC8 theater which is empty and one side is the old IKEA which is empty too. check the picture i took for that spot. it's about 30-40 mins from Newport up and 30-40 mins from Pasadena area.
