Me and some other folks are thinking about putting together a meet for the MB folks in August. I don't have a time/date in mind yet because any time/date would be good for me as I'm on summer vacation right now. I have couple location in mind, but have to do some scouting first.

anyone is welcome to make suggestion on time/date/location as long as we keep in the Pasadena to Irvine area. That means any where in between works as well.

It would be better we can have one big meet IMO. It doesnt necesarrily have to be just C class either. Any MB owner. What is your idea?

 

I was thinking any MB owner. Just wait till Citron has when/where he want to have the meet since he started that first thread, and then we can spread the words.

 

Sounds like a plan. I just hope we dont lag on the date because i dont want to have it at the end of augest when class starts.

 

I might go up to san jose around 14-20th. not sure yet. We'll see, we'll have to follow the majority vote.

We can always do in DB. It will be central for people from OC and Pasadena. We could meet by the KFC / Burger King parking lot next to AAA. It is empty on Sundays. What do u think?

 

I was thinking about that plaza, but I'm not sure if picking that place would be fair for others since we live sooooooooo close.

BUT that is so far the best place I know that the parking lot is completely empty.

 

I think the IN n OUT by tustin market place in Tustin/Irvine would be a great place! Huge Parking lot and not much traffic at night..

1) the Rite Aid/AAA plaza on Diamond Bar Blvd close to the 57fwy exit, which as absolutely no one during any time. It's a very large plaza and usually there's no cops or rent a cop around. lights after dark.

2) the old IKEA off the 5 fwy in Tustin. E46fanatics has held their meets there. Good place, but sometimes cops or rent a cop will come by. lights after dark.

3) open to suggestion.

hey FrankW. the 21-22 or 28-29 is good for me. i agree that it shouldnt just be C-Class but any MB's. the tustin market place is a good place to meet but downside as you said is the cops like to cruise around, and the rent a cops are always there to call the po-po.

diamond bar sounds good to me. i think that the 57 is a somewhat central location to the LA area. granted it will be farther north for the SD people such as Saprissa. definately count me in.

another location just come to mind is the Old IKEA off the 60fwy or the parkings behind Mimi's Cafe (both between the Fullerton exit and Azuza exit). They are huge parking lots as well. Not sure if there's cops or rent a cop around tho.

I'll have a vote going when I gather enough places as the location.
