Yes you should never take any car through a normal car wash.....I have always washed my 03 by hand its gets the marks but some nano wax takes them right out...I also only use sheap skin gloves and i use auto dry......
FYI: the nano wax saved the front of my car from a rock shower on the high way i had rocks going up my hood and down the pano roof...and it dosent have a mark also the bugs just hosed off the front real nice
