Anyone know/recommend somewhere to buy either a Lorinser or a Lorinser style roof spoiler, not trunk spoiler, for an 05 C230SS. I think it's probably going to be different in 05 cause of the antenna. I wasn't a huge fan of the look, but a friend of mine put one on his S500 and it changed the look a lot. Any help would be appreciated...and I've already used the famous "search" feature, wasn't much there unfortunately. I went to Evosport's site and saw one there, just want to see if any of you guys have one, what you think, and where to possibly get one.

 

lorinser has both style roof wings. the tele-aid ant was standard on 02 models, option on 03-04 except C320 it was standard. so lorinser has covered this already. there is a website out there that sells the lorinser kits, but i cant remember it off hand.

 

I have seen it on Ebay someone selling for $2xx painted. Same price as the trunk lip. Lorinser style.

i was impressed w/ the look too, that's why I want to get one...the one I saw on ebay was from a guy who has them for all different cars, but his feedback isn't exactly the best in the world.

 

If you're willing spending the extra bucks, I would get the real Lorinser from Evo

 

I got the real deal LORINSER from Evosport. Granted it's a roof wing for a COUPE, but they do a great job, from prepping, painting & installing. I'm sure they'll make it look great on a SEDAN too.

 

How much does the real one cost?

 

hay guys i had a question on these roof spoilers. i need mine installed but it goes on the glass and i dont know which epoxy to use.. any suggestions? ive checked the forums but no one really recommended an epoxy. well thanks in advance.

 

you know what they say about assumptions... that said, I'd think that the spoiler would come w/some sort of adhesive for you to install it. All of the bodykit parts I'd bought for my dub came w/the "correct" adhesive per the mfr.

betalink sticks like a **** to the body, I'd think it would work just as good on glass... but don't take my word for it

 

contact EVOSPORT. They professionally installed my LORINSER roof wing on the glass. They use industrial strength stuff. Not sure now what it was, it's been a while since I got it. These LORINSER roof wings do NOT come with the common double sided sticky tape. This has to be done with auto-grade epoxy or adhesive.

I've been looking into the Lorinser roof wing and have seen it available online. I know If I buy it online, it will not come painted to match the briliant silver of my '02 coupe. I live in Albany, NY and spend time in NYC. Do any of you know anywhere in NYC or upstate where I can order the wing painted?

Any idea as to price?

 

I think I bought mine for $400 or less. That was back in 2001 so Im sure the prices are less.

at the time when I bought it, the price was approx $400
and then paid an additional $200 for prep, paint & install.

This question is for LorinserCCLASS or anyone else who can answer. Is the spoiler on your car ( the whiite one ) from (mymercedes.com) ? If not what type is it? Does it fit well?
