need passenger headlight install help

Im swapping my bulbs and for the life of me I cant get the bulb back in. this is the hid bulb in a 05 c230. any hints or tricks

You may want to mention if you have a sedan or coupe. The lights are slightly different.

Are you talking about fitting the bulb into the housing, or fitting the connector onto the bulb? The bulb is probably held in place by a couple of wire clips. You have to rotate the bulb until it properly goes into place. The bulbs only go in one way.

There are 2 styles I know of, for the coupe at least. Does your bulb connect to a connector with 2 wires, or does it connect to a puck with 3 wires?

This is the 4 door sedan im having issues getting the assembly (bulb an igniter) to attach to the back of the housing

When you removed the bulb, was it attached to a connector, or did you remove the connector first then have to unclip a wire or two?

I undid the wire and removed it as one unit, with the hid igniter, ring and bulb
