Your car is the prefacelift version. I suspect the photo is of a cable for a facelifted car. I don't the pre-facelift W203 had any kind of factory aux in. I had to make my own.

Thanks @slammer111 That must be the case for me. My car is 2002 C200K w203, must be the last versions of the m111.955 engines. How did you make yours? I need that since the CD does not work even after cleaning.
I did it by soldering some wires from a 3.5mm TRS (headphone) jack to the tape deck.
Other people did something similar, but my method works perfectly. Best of all, my mp3 player (or any player of your choice) can be placed in the cup holder.
