C270 CDI Service Manual and Head gasket replacement help

I would like to ask for help regarding the replacement of the C270 CDI head gasket.
The car has 300,000 km and recently it started bubbling in the coolant tank during high rpm. White smoke has also been observed out of the exhaust pipe and this has led me to the conclusion of a blown head gasket. The car had the wrong anti-freeze and it has since been flushed. My assumption is that the incorrect anti-freeze corroded the head gasket and allowed it to leak. The engine has a lot of black residue on the sides and it looks to be leaking from the PCV valve (not sure if that is the correct terminology, will include a photo if asked). The intercooler has oil/diesel in it (black fluid) as well as the turbo and various air pipes. (That is there to show what I am dealing with).
I was wondering whether a second hand engine won't be cheaper than a head gasket replacement. (Second hand engines are going for R35,000 in South Africa which is roughly USD21,000)
And lastly, I am considering doing this job myself as I recently acquired a few torque wrenches. I would like to find out whether someone has the Service manual for the C270 and not for 'all' w203's. As my experience in searching for manuals to purchase have been that they do not include the C270 in the W203 lineup.
Any advice is appreciated and thanks in advance.
