C240 2001 Key Fob Issues
Hello, I’m having issue with my key fobs. One I used daily has stopped working won’t turn over ignition. I’ve moved wheel left right but nothing.
I tried spare key fob and it worked. Was excited till I started driving and nothing worked no Speedo, no windows, no radio, no blinkers nothing just driving blind

called RACV they tested battery and said it’s fine, when they started car with key fob spare everything worked fine for them.
called a few mechanics all had different possibilities from SAM to fuse to new key fob!
I’m confused what’s happening, anyone experienced this before?

Good News, Got a new Key from a independent locksmith and it works 
for 1/4 price of Mercedes, who were not that helpful a bit dismissive not good service to be honest and wait till October for key (( End of day it was just a faulty IR not reading ignition. Have new key happy now
