P0172 Code Check List Suggestions

2005 C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan
P0172 Code Check List Suggestions
The vehicle in question is an 05 C230K with the M271 engine. P0172 code is the System Too Rich Bank 1 code.
Based on my forum search thus far I haven't found any actual suggestions more like people having codes and going back and forth. I have picked up a couple of things though.
1) Smoke test has been mentioned
2) Vacuum leak has been mentioned
3) Cleaning or replacing MAF Sensor
4) O2 sensor fault
5) Fuel pressure fault
I'll be honest I just don't know where to look first. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It idles ok it seems but I have parked my car because of this. Thank you in advance for your time.
