This is driving me nuts!!!
Ok, this is really driving me crazy... I love the car, I love the feel, if I don'T drive the car for a day I'll have to drive it before going to bed to either gas or buy smokes or anything I can find....
But I can't stand the constant rattling problems. I fixed them all: passenger head rest, mirror, rear deck lid, the only one I can't get to fix is the annoying rattling/ ticking sound coming from what seems like the instrument cluster...
Anybody here having the same problem? over rough or semi-rough pavement you will hear a rapid ticking sound coming from your cluster? anybody managed to fix this one, please let me know, I don'T like listening to loud music, I want my car to be quiet !
Thanks for your help! happy driving!

I've got rattling problem from the instruement cluster... There's a spring tensioning the steering column cover and it could hit something and create rattles. Try to adjust the steering wheel angle and see if the problem goes away.
I stick a thin piece of foam between the spring and the plastic surface underneath. It seems working.

Thanks for the help, I tried changing the angle to no avail, I can try putting some kind of felt behind, did you access it by removing the instrument cluster or through the fuse box cover?

You'll have to remove the cluster assembly... BUT wait until all the lights on the cluster go off first BEFORE unplugging it (if you need to). Otherwise you might get some weird error codes...
