you can point to a pic somewhere w/ the IMG button. either a pic on some other site or an UPLOADed pic on the mbworld server. to upload a pic, use the upload pictures link on the bottom. the problem w/ that is that occasionally, the server goes down
if you know the tags, you can do it manually.you can Attach the pic using the ATTACH FILE field and browse to it on your local computer. it has a limit of 1 pic per message. the advantage is that the pic becomes a part of the message rather than pointing to a file somewhere else.
btw, i like the stage 2 (bluish)... i don't think it looks as blue as the first pic you posted. look for renncpe's hids pics (is that the 3rd one you posted w/ the silver coupe?). i got stage 1 and they're still yellowish
i just want white lights. (not blue nor purple)

stage 1 is whiter (4300k), stage 2 is blueish (6000k), and the purple ones are even higher color temp.
oh, i know. the stage 2 kits that renncpe has turns on bluish and gradually get whiter. it looks kinda bluish from certain angles. this is similar to oem mb hids.
overall, between purple and blue, i like the blue better. note that i think the higher temp you go, the worse it is for inclement weather like heavy rain or fog.

i don't mean to overstate that the purple ones are greatly more dangerous than the blue ones... just that it doesn't quite illuminate wet surfaces or snow as well. but in LA, that's not a problem anyway, right?

you still have to weigh the overall aesthetic value of the purple ones which i think are also quite attractive.
renncpe's kits are HID4LESS (my personal opinion - stay away from them!) stage 2 kits which are blue. i think that pic is a bit deceptive. this video is more accurate in the color. renncpe's hids mpeg file

In any case, with headlights, the main criterion should be function, not style, so the colour of HID light you choose should be based upon its ability to illuminate - not its ability to look like the underbody of a 62 Impala low-rider.
I'm concerned why you say to stay away from stage 2, curiousity gets the best of me can you elaborate?
it means i have to fill out paperwork, etc.anyway, despite that i like their products, i cannot recommend the company of Hids4less.
i recommend: http://www.hidkits.com/, http://www.autolamps-online.com/gasdischarge/index.htm and http://www.supremepowerparts.com . they have a much better reputation and people seemed to be quite satisfied.
I need some help deciding between wich kind of Xenon headlamps I should get...
