05 W203 No Start Issue
I have a 2005 Mercedes C230K 1.8L supercharged engine. Just did an engine swap, then found out the main ECM (one on the air box) was bad so I swapped the ECM and other vin coded parts from the donor car- gear shifter, ignition switch and key, even the cluster, sam unit, and ESL and the car will crank but does not start. I have spark and fuel pressure at the rail. The key turns, everything lights up, you hear the fuel pump kick on and the engine turns when you turn the key (sounds like it has no compression but the donor car ran right before pulling the engine so I figured maybe that sound could be from from sitting? I feel like since it ran before pulling it, the compression is not the reason for it not starting). My buddy's snap on scanner shows a p200b and p202b and says that the ect is defective but that was also a known working part from the donor car. And it does not start with the original tcm either.

Well look at the ect in actual values and see if temperature is normal. Pump a few squirts of oil in the cylinders that will get the rings to seal if it has been standing for some time
