2003 AMG C230 Kompressor, Cranks but wont start when engine warmed up

I have a 03 C230 with the 1.8L i4 Supercharged engine. I am currently having an issue with the car cranking excessively and stumbling to start or not starting at all. NO ENGINE LIGHT comes on. All signs and research points to Crank position sensor is bad. Where is the Crank position sensor located? I looked around in the bellhousing area but did not see a sensor. I will attach pictures so someone can maybe point me in the right direction. I have already replaced the Cam position sensor that is on the vehicle right side of the engine right above the exhaust header, it was leaking some oil from it and the clip was broken so I replaced both the sensor and the plug as well. That did not fix this issue which is why I am now looking for the Crank position sensor.

The car also keeps telling me that the coolant is low even though it is not. Is there a way to disconnect or disable the coolant level sensor so it no longer gives me this notification on the dash every start?

Looks like our m271 engine, although you have a different looking exhaust manifold to mine. There are very experienced people on this forum who will provide advice (which will realistically involve connecting a mercedes diagnostics tool das or star before you throw any money at this problem hoping to fix it) * which costs $$$

Watch any video from diagnosedan on youtube... i've just seen a car not crank when hot because when the ecu got hot it didnt work.. who knows what your problem could be without proper diagnosis.

I think the coolant level sensor is the least of your problems but its in the reservoir (which it has been advised by forum user slammer111 to replace it (which comes with sensor) because they become brittle over time and are known to break. but yeah... its the least of your problems

but if you want to know anyway https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...2005-m271.html

The coolant level sensor doesn't really just break. It's just a ferrite ring attached to something that floats inside the coolant reservoir. Are you using an aftermarket tank? The part of the sensor that reads the coolant level pops into the bottom and just twists in. I'm guessing the sensor has either gone bad or it somehow got disconnected.

THERE IT IS! Thank you so much. I am going to order one and replace it and see if that fixes my issue. The sensor is only about $30 so I will go ahead and replace it to see if that is the issue.
