Latch to my key is broken

Latch to my key is broken
So I can't get the key blade out to replace the battery. Not sure if it's clear, but the plastic slide is gone.

Any tips since the latch is gone?

You can buy the case for the key fob online... ebay or amazon should have I bought one and it worked just fine...
