Out Of Control!!
I'd get rid of all of those "\" characters first, to tell you the truth.
And no, I wouldn't do badges unless I had a more significant amount of $$ locked into any one vendor, such as an entire Kleemann supercharger kit or Brabus engine.
Following the Kleemann badging logic, I could put "Renntech" and "Brabus" badges on my car. And if I did that, I would expect someone to at least call me on it.
I'm partial to either stock or no badging. I'm simple, except when it comes to leather.

You can always sell them on E-Bay to poseur! The local dealer had a C-Coupe with AMG wheels and an AMG badge in the rear and nothing else. The AMG badge was $695. Now if you can get that for the Kleemann badge, you're pulley kit is paid for.

I would, but I'd rearrange the Kleemann letters so they read: KLEEN MAN or NEW KLAN. Or I could combine the stock C230K letters with the KLEEMANN letters to get CLEAN NOW, LE CLOWN, or MEAN CLONE
Sorry to hijack your thread, Young. You asked for it posting this on a Friday!
Seriously, I'd consider putting the KLEEMANN on the trunk...unless I could sell it on EBAY...

i think its fine to put on your car as long as u have the pully the only thing that would stop me is that Kleemann is such a big word and it kind of reminds me of Kompressor whick i took off along with c230 but if it was a renntech pully i like there badges better. and most people would have no idea at all what kleemann really is. but its defintly ok to put on. I would consider it.

Don't do it.. Change the badges and 2 things will happen.
1) You’ll never get any engine or driveline failures repaired under warranty. No hiding the engine mod with the Badge on the rear.
2) Every Teenager with his mothers used Honda will want to race.
Of course it would be cool to differentiate your C230K from all the others and have the extra HP to back it up. Of course only folks on this forum and a dozen others know what Keemann is.
Tough Call. I may just go with the side badges and keep fish line and goo-be-gone handy in case I need to visit my Dealer…

This is another case of "damned if you do, damned if you dont". So many people complained about NOT getting badges that we include them now. As of this moment the poll shows 60% wouldnt mount them- go figure

1. The local MBZ dealer here actually installs our pulleys on new cars and doesnt see an issue with any warranty. I guess it just depends on your relationship with the dealer.
2. Fine- you can beat any of them

The way I see it
Putting an aftermarket badge on a car is simply free advertising for the maker of the product. They should pay YOU to put the badge on. They pay Michael Schumacher for having ads on his car and his Nomex suit; why should they not pay you for the same thing?
I put aftermarket logos in the same category as those nasty dealer-logo license plate frames and dealership stickers. Yucky.
If you're into the function that these aftermarket parts provide, that's fine. If you want to put the stickers on, I would suspect that:
1) it's either conspicuous consumption at work; or
2) you like giving free advertising to corporations.

yes, well um- right
Sponsors (the "they" you refer to) pay the likes of MS metric tons of money for Logos on his suit and car because he is in front of millions of "viewers" at any given time. The amount of camera time Ferrari gets during a given F1 race is amazing. This is not what AMG, BRABUS, Lorinser or KLEEMANN badges are for. The analogy just isnt there on that level.
Certainly they act as markers for product consumed- just as the star on the hood does. Its more an issue of fraterinty in my mind- Why wear the BRABUS badge? Because you ilicit thoughts of all the fantastic BRABUS cars of the past and present- same with AMG, KLEEMANN and everyone else.
Remember the days of the "M police"? I was always amazed that anybody was stupid enough to slap an M badge on a 318i or a 528e- who were they fooling?
Some people actually LIKE showing their support for a tuner- If you do not well thats understandable and purely your choice.
