2DIN RADIO REPLACEMENT - AIR VENT REMOVAL PROBLEM
Decided to replace my old 2din radio with a new one. After many days, the new radio came so I started the setup.
Start by removing the central air vent
There are 2 clips in each side which allows you to bring the vent all the way down and up so as to have access to 2 bolts on the bottom and another 2 "geared" clips at the top.
I easily managed to release the right side, then went at the bottom of the left sid e and alos release the screw. All was god until I tried to press the TOP clip so as to exposure the TOP mount.
After 3-4 times trying to pull it, it broke!!!!!!
Now I am stuck! it doesn't move. I have release the console, the ashtray etc but still I cannot remove it.
* The bezel of the airvent is glued at the body of it, I wonder if I break it, would I have access to the upper mount?
PLEASE!!! I need help, any recomendation is welcome!
Thanks in advance

If you're able to remove the vent, you might want to replace the part and pick up the correct fasteners too. That missing chunk looks awful.
Another reason why I do not like random repair people touching my car.
