Good afternoon, I have a 2005 Mercedes C240, I have had this car for years and has been a great vehicle for me. A few weeks ago I had the error come up Display Malfunction visit work shop, at the same time the front turn signals started acting funky, they work just work extremely slow and have hesitation between turn indications. It is Important that I add that some time they work fine and the Malfunction code goes away then I turn the vehicle off and boom right back to malfunctioning. It is only the front that does this the back works fine. I have checked fuses I have reset the car by unhooking the battery. Nothing seems to help.. Do any of your guys out there know what this might be? I have though maybe the wire ink harness but I don’t want to guess too much and sink a lot of money into a guessing game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My problem was slightly different from yours. I eventually fixed it by replacing the front SAM-Signal Acquisition and Actuation Module.
