Evolution of my car on MBWorld
I was looking back at a few pix the last few days, and I was surprised on how long I've been modding and on the forums already. I also do realize without having discovered mbworld I most likely wouldnt have modded my car at all :p THANKS mbworld for making me spend over 35k on my car
When I started lurking the forums in late '01 I saw pretty much very little enthusiasm in this car(W203). The 'godfather'(BrabusCClass aka Jason), Jay and Daniel were probably the only ones really modifying and toying with the car-wether it be grilles, superchargers, wheels etc. I then got interested....Keep in mind I started out with this:
I then was trying to figure what would make me stand out....I really liked the Lorinser kit BUT I hated the Lorinser wheels. So I decided on some 18" Chrome Maya's. I chose 18" because I was afraid the ride wasnt going to be that great....big mistake #1 I made....more on that later...
Notice NO bixenon haha. Those are the FIRST 2 pix I ever posted of my car here actually. I was hella nervous about being flamed for putting chrome 3pc NON Lorinser wheels on a Lorinser kit...but the fella's were pretty friendly

I then started really following the forum literally religiously-man I was addicted! I saw people were upgrading to BiXenon light and I knew I just had to have them
Then the whole thing with AMG Brakes being compatible on regular W203's came up so I was third in line at evosport(behind BrabusCClass and Kesita)to get them on my car. Guys I paid 750+install so ya'll dont be *****ing about paying 600 bux or so

Ok then **** started flipping on me...I know WANTED 19's....I wanted a grill I wanted a system...etc etc...so I got some of the first 8 series HRE wheels on the car-and to remind Jonji the FIRST 10"rears on a c class
By that time I had already gotten the grill and what not....

Next up to do was my WHOLE interior in half suede half leather....along that I also had my trunk worked on-doods I was rocking Comand with that system back in the day!!
PS also notice probably the ONLY Brabus suede/leather steering wheel ever seen on a c class(or ANY class for that matter...)and the ONLY suede rear tray too Also my first set of door sills come up in those pix

Then pretty much I got tired of the Comand and my AMG's...so I swapped I also dumped the 2 way sills for the 4 way Lorinser(only friggin replica I have on my car haha)and that Brabus suede **** started getting on my nerves so I got a different wheel from Germany

Pretty much I can sum of the last few years as just plain fun. I met a buncha people on the forums and car shows that have made modding just an exciting hobby. Yeah I did spend almost 35k-so what? I had fun doing it,lol am I EVER gonna spend that much money on a car again?? ehh..no way Right now my car is pretty much on its way to pasture. Just doing a few mods here and there to entertain me, the car will be traded/sold within a year. So pretty much every mod I choose to do is something that I can resell to someone else down the line.....Here are few newer pix kids

LOL yeah you and I have the original styled stock c classes, these new guys got lucky I tell ya-they get a kit, wheels AND brakes.....Oh well at least now I see A LOT more C Classes on the road than ever!
