M271 engine wiring harness
Hi I am looking for some real help here, I have a 2009 CLC180K (C203. It was only after the garage told me that I needed a new pre-cat O2 sensor for the second time in 12 months that I got peeved and took matters in my own hands. The previous MOT they stated on the invoice that they had fitted a Bosch unit ( turned out they fitted the cheaper NTL sensor). any way I decided to look at the connectors and yes there was the dreaded oil. Yes it had managed to make its way to the ECU (but not to badly) I knew that I needed to replace the wiring harness and cam solenoids (magnets). so here is my problem and I hope someone out there has done this before. I have removed the harness (quite easy) up to the branch that goes to the Lambda sensor. there is a plug at the top that goes to the supercharger inlet and then another one that I cannot find.
the harness branch has 5 connectors: 2 for Lambda sensors, 1 goes to bottom of auto transmission 1 to the supercharger inlet and then the (2nd in line) I cannot find. Besides this it is fairly easy so do not waste the £2000 MB and Indies want.
Camshaft solenoid (magnet) kit £124.00 Autodoc arrived from germany in 3 days everything included.
Wiring harness, had to get from main dealer (£376 inc VAT) as the only one I could see was from Lithuania and that was much more expensive due to carriage (£420)
I have looked on MB WIS but am unable to find anything that helps. so please please any advice or info greatly appreciated.
