Poltergeist?

 

Did all of your interior lights come on as well? If so, you tripped it into rollover mode. I did it once on a hard corner with a bad bump in it. The yaw sensor will sense if it thinks a rollover is imminent and unlock the doors and turn on the lights. If it just unlocked the doors, then it was just a funky gremlin.

 

I've seen at least one other person here complain about the same thing (and he was immediately accused of being crazy/stupid/wrong), and I've had it happen to me once.

The one thing that I found that we had in common was that we were corning rather enthusiastically, and hit a bump while cornering.

Coincidentally, the other person was also exiting from a freeway (late for the ramp, so he yanked the wheel - and hit a small bump). My experience occurred hustling around a 90 degree turn, when the inside rear wheel dropped off of the pavement. It wasn't a big, jarring, jolt . . . but it was enough to cause the doors to unlock enexpectedly.

I don' t know if this is due to the rollover/accident feature, or if there is simply a place in the circuit that can short when hitting a bump while cornering.

Either way, it hasn't happened since, so I don't think that it's a major deal (with my car). If it happens to you repeatedly, then I'd have the dealer check it out.

I posted this problem last month, but I never find the problem cause!!!

But my car unlocked even when stoping, and other times unlock and lock imediatly

I went to the dealer to solve other problems and mentioned it, now its ok, but I still dont know what was the problem
(the dealer say he didn't do anything!!!)

 

My locks "popped" open today under moderate braking.
nicedeboy ran out in front of my car, but I braked anyway.

 

Must be a reflex then

it was probably a glitch, i've had a few in my car. if it happens again, go to the dealer and have them clear all the fault codes. When i was having problems with my sunroof and windows, i had my father clear all the fault codes and everything went back to normal.
