Help - ECU extra connector
The connector pins look clean enough:
And because the damn thing looks like this, nothing is rattling inside, and I have no clue how to open it, I decided to put it right back.
HOWEVER... as I look down into the ECU bay, I notice this: (from top, looking straight down):
Zoomed in:
THAT connector is lost: there is no way it connects to the ECU - no connection at the back, and way to short to reach to the top. So, I guess Im just asking... WTF??

(I just have to admit: I have just been karma'd, me and my big mouth, eh Russell?)
Hint: The SAI is only active when it is a real cold start. Engine temp must fall below 40 °C to activate it.
You can monitor the MAP sensor with your Torque in the morning on first start. When SAI is working it must rise to around -4 psi and fall after 1 minute to -7 psi
Did your ECU got wet?

I'll forget about opening the ECU for now - it is easy enough to get it out again if need be. For now I just want it back in, so that I can do the testing you suggested in the sc thread.
But I have to figure out that loose connector in the ECU bay. It looks like a ground-only connection to me.
Any ideas, guys?
