i bought mine at MBSD. at the time they didnt have many good loaners and i had a bad first experience there getting my shift knob repaired. they failed to put the center console back together. plus Hoehn had plenty of MB loaners and you didnt have to wait 4 weeks for an appointment like i did at MBSD. MBSD does have a sweet service bay and do great free washes. plus i love to walk the lot while im getting my car washed when i do go there, not very often anymore. i only go when im in SD visiting friends and stop in to talk to my salesmen. hes always eager to check out my latest mods.

But I'm afraid with the price of shipping you would loose out on any discount that they do give, and you're breaking even just buying them retail from your local dealer. Maybe, I don't know.

I've never done anything special to get their low prices, no membership club, no secret handshake, nothing. I think they do it at lower prices because they move so much stuff through their inventory.
next time I'm there, I'll dig deeper and see if I can get some info !

Cool, thanks guys!
I'm currently trying to figure out the cheapest way to get an OEM '05 decklid spoiler. Buying it through the sales dept at the dealership looks to cost $800+. Given that I know the spoiler part only costs $300-$400, that seems like an extreme ripoff.
So I'm thinking of just dealing with parts depts to get the spoiler based on part number (which I already have). Hopefully since it is not through the sales dept. the markup on the part will be minimal. Then see who can paint match it for a reasonable price. I would go ahead and install it myself since it's just double-stick 3M, and I would rather wait the 24 hour cure time with the car in my garage instead of at the dealer.
Any more sage advice for this little project?

It sells for $289 and it comes ready to install, painted to match your color.
I AM NOT RECOMMENDING ANYONE, I'm only telling you what my experience with the spoiler was. I did a search to try to find the other member but can't find him. I think I remember him having a gray '05 sedan and posted pictures recently.

Hi Carlos,
Yes, I've seen that one. I remember the pix you are talking about too (but there's so many threads, and there's no *image* search.)
But, I've decided I want to stick with the OEM spoiler for me. I like how it continues the line started by the rear taillights. I'm kind of with Citron on being OEM-only...
Let us know if you get your corner lights. I just ordered some and they should be here soon (crossing fingers).

Walters...... Duffle Bag with travel folder.... Car flatbeded from Walters to Anaheim when I got it... Box of candy mailed 2 months later..... New car detail, free choice of loan car during service..... This is what I get from walters. Why? Because during my deal I went straight to the GM and said I want the high level of service that you claim in your moto. Some won't But Walters will

'06 E350 Iridium Silver with pano
I just got an MB gift in the mail a few days ago. It's the leather folio with stuff in it. what's was pretty cool though was the owners card (credit card size) with a pic of the 05 c230K in the color of my car (brilliant silver) on one side....on the other was the actual vin number with mb contact information. when we drove off the lot, we also got one of those exclusive stuffed dog for my son. just wondering what other c230k 05 members have gotten this year with their purchase '05 c230K purchases. I'm sure for higher models of MB, gift probably can get pretty nice.

I got the leather folio in the mail as well with the owner's card. The card has become handy when calling about insurance.
I bought my car from MB Ft. Lauderdale. They gave me the MB detailing kit (worth $100), 2 keychains with their phone #, free 20% tint (which I may have to pay to replace because of stupid Georgia laws), and wheel locks. My salesman was very nice.

Purchased my car 1 week ago today from Smythe and my girlfriend couldn't even get a keychain from them! We were working with an internet salesman that didn't even seem care about the sale. Told us his internet sales manager was gonna get most of the commission. My GF was so ticked off at the salesman she almost got me to leave. But I couldn't leave the deal I was getting! Maybe thats why I didn't get a crummy keychain that was worth 2 bucks. When we finished all the paperwork my GF asked for the keychain for all the hassle we went through ( we were in their for almost 3 hours!) and all the salesman did was smirk and say he had to ask his manager! I was so fed up I just wanted to leave and didn't care. Crossing my fingers for something in the mail over the next month but am definately not counting on it.
You guys say you all recieved your gifts a month or two after you bought your cars right? Seems to me Smythe are some cheap people.
