Keeps breaking exhaust back pressure sensor
Hello, I have a 05 220cdi (om646) Avantgarde with a new annoying problem that have arisen after it have been parked for a year because I only drive it during summer when i'm home from university.
I have a icarsoft v1.0 fault code reader and the car gives the code p0471 "Exhaust manifold pressure sensor A range of performance". The car is down on power in a semi limp home mode but still driveable.
Replacing the sensor fixes the problem and the car is back to normal, for about one and a halft to two days, then the sensor fails again. I've gone through two sensors right now, the original had part number A0041539828 and i replaced it both times with a Ridex, part number 3942S0044.
The last time I parked it in the evening after driving fine the whole day and did a scan with no codes, in the morning the next day it was down on power again and p0471 was back.
There are no other codes.
Any suggestions on what the problem might be is greatly appreciated.

I have replaced a few of these without further issues. My advice.. use only genuine parts.
also Read the actual values and compare them to atmosphere value. For accurate testing again use genuine diagnostic tools
