There is the potential that the $20 part is a cheap clone and won't last as long as the more expensive part if it works at all. If someone you trust has used the $20 part and found it worked, it may be worth a gamble. If you are trusting reviews on Amazon or eBay I suggest that you become familiar with the various techniques sellers use to boost their reviews.

However, most people experience higher maintenance and repair costs than they were accustomed to with Honda and Toyota.
